About us Our people Researchers and engineers Mr Angus Begg A diligent and resourceful development engineer, Angus specialises in electronics, software, and signal processing. Working in the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) team at the Bionics Institute, he is part of a team looking to improve DBS as a treatment for movement disorders. As his time as an engineer at the Bionics Institute Angus has been involved in several projects in the DBS team including working on the development of symptom monitors for Parkinson’s disease and helping develop surgical guidance systems for DBS implantation. He also works closely with clinicians to gather data necessary to guide the development of these systems.
