Wendy completed a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Melbourne in 2010 before moving to Canada for a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia. As a behavioural neuroscientist, Wendy spent more than 10 years researching brain mechanisms related to psychiatric and neurological conditions. Following her work in Canada, Wendy transitioned from a career at the bench by joining the Bionics Institute in 2017. Wendy uses her expertise in neuroscience to support research and commercialisation activities across all levels of the Institute.
