Ann joined the Bionics Institute as Head of Philanthropy in April 2021.

Ann is excited about connecting supporters with the Bionics Institute’s life-changing medical research, accelerating the discovery and development of innovative products, therapies and diagnostic tools and bringing them to market.

Ann was previously Director of Advancement for Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Melbourne and was part of the Believe campaign to raise $1 billion and engage 100,000 alumni.

Before moving to Australia, Ann was Director of External Relations at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, responsible for fundraising, marketing, public engagement, student recruitment, alumni relations and commercialisation.

Ann’s earlier career spanned a variety of international sales and marketing roles in industry, in sectors including electronics, polymers, display equipment, renewable energy, textiles and housing.

'I am grateful for the opportunity to shape the philanthropic future of the Bionics Institute as the Institute achieves its growth ambitions and continues to transform lives.'
